ORIS was found in 1904 with the establishment of a watch factory in Holstein, Switzerland by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian and over 100 years it maintained its roots in watch making craftsmanship and followed the traditional watchmaking method to develop its own movement. Since 1906, ORIS opened its first watch assembly factory in Holderbank and currently has opened 10 branches, and established an electric gilded factory to reduce cost of production and improve product quality. Due to this passion products from ORIS were able to maintain the best materials with the passion of watch making artisans and are opening a new future of mechanic watches as a high quality work of art.
