DAKS is a British luxury fashion house, founded in 1894 by Simeon Simpson, the owner of a tailor shop named 'House of Simpson’ located on Middlesex Street in London. In 1934, when the use of braces and belts were more common, the brand became known for the patented Self-supporting Trousers design known as the DAKS trouser. Through popularity of the waistband of the trouser, DAKS TOPS, the company started to put DAKS labels on the pants, followed the birth of the brand, DAKS. With over 15 years of history, DAKS is a traditional brand that represents Britain as well loved and praised by people all around the world.
