MISSONI was launched in 1953 when the pair, Ohtabioh and Rosita, opened a small knitwear workshop in Varese, Italy. Missoni is a world renowned name across the fashion and design industry and their iconic zigzag pattern is instantly recognizable. It is a global luxury brand that pioneered knitwear as luxury clothing with its unique design and color, allowing knitwear to dominate high fashion. Dubbed ‘the magician of colors and knit’, MISSONI is beloved worldwide for its geometric and abstract design balancing bold colors and diverse patterns.

Since 1997, the MISOONI group has been run by the couple’s children. Angela Missoni is the creative director, while Vittorio is the sales manager and Luca the director of the engineering department.
